Your first appointment is all about YOU! We will listen to your health history, review your x-rays, and discuss a treatment plan to achieve and maximize your health goals.
Upon entering our office, you will check in with our front desk assistant. You should have filled out the paperwork online prior to your appointment. If you are still needing to fill out information, please arrive a few minutes early to ensure this is completed for your appointment. This paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.
Before treating patients, we require x-rays if your previous one’s are more than a year old. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and can often immediately identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, either Dr. Rangel or Dr. Fielding will give you a report of findings to answer the four most popular questions:
What is wrong with me?
Can you help me?
What will it take to get better?
How much is it going to cost?
After discussing your history, goals, examination, and reviewing x-rays or tests, Dr. Rangel or Dr. Fielding will discuss recommendations with you. If you have a condition that requires care from other providers, you will be informed. If Dr. Rangel or Dr. Fielding believe they can help you, a treatment and health plan will be discussed.
We do not guess about your health. After a thorough review of your case history, exam, and x-ray findings you may be accepted for care. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies. Treatment is interactive with you so you can express any concerns you have about the style of adjustment you will be most comfortable with.
Prior to leaving Thorassic Park Too, patients will be instructed on a wellness program to be conducted at home. If you are in pain when you come into our office this may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and stretches. If you want an overall improved wellness lifestyle, we will work with you to create good habits and routines that support your success. Everybody is unique and different, therefore everyone requires a unique and customized wellness plan based on their goals and abilities. The foundation of our overall wellness lifestyle is maintaining healthy posture and good spinal alignment, eating a healthy diet, taking supplements, keeping your weight and stress under control.
